NIT Rourkela Admission Process

NIT Rourkela offers admission for its courses through the entrance examination and on the basis of merit. Candidates need to fill out the application form and submit the application fee. For NIT Rourkela admission in the B.Tech and B.Arch courses, candidates must appear for the JEE Mains examination. For NIT Rourkela admission into the M.Tech, M.Sc and MBA courses, candidates must appear for the GATE examination, JAM examination and CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT examination respectively. If the candidates qualify for the entrance exam, they have to appear for further processes such as counselling, group discussion and personal interview.

NIT Rourkela offers a total of 57 courses at the postgraduate level. These courses are M.Tech, M.Sc, MBA, Executive MBA and M.A. The duration of these courses is 2 years. The duration of an executive MBA at NIT Rourkela is 3 years.

MBA	-	Candidates must have completed B.Tech with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA.
Executive MBA	-	Candidate must have completed graduation and must have more than 3 years of work experience.

NIT Rourkela M.Tech Admission Process

Candidates have to apply online for admission by submitting the application form with the application fee.
Candidates have to appear for the GATE entrance examination as they will be selected on the basis of the scores obtained in the GATE examination.
Further candidates have to appear for CCMT counselling process.
Candidates selected have to submit their documents for verification and submit the course fee.
Candidates who have done B. Tech from IIT with an 8 CGPA are eligible for direct admission.

NIT Rourkela M.Sc Admission Selection Process

Candidates must have submitted the application form with the application fee.
Candidates have to appear for the JAM entrance examination.
Candidates have to further appear for CCMN counselling process.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of the score obtained in the JAM entrance examination.
Candidates have to verify their documents and submit the course fee once they get selected for admission.

NIT Rourkela MBA Admission Selection Process

Candidates must have submitted the application form and application fee online.
Candidates must appear for CAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT entrance examination.
Candidates who qualify for the entrance examination have to appear for further rounds like Group Discussions and Personal Interviews.
Final selection of the candidates will be on the basis of entrance examination, group discussion, personal interview, academic performance and work experience (if any).

Whether to choose DAIICT , IT or nit Rourkela mechanical

Hello,

Obviously, NIT Rourkela. Great Placement and Good Faculty with large alumni base.

Students can learn coding alongside mechanical engineering with ease in mechanical engineering because of better peer groups and the college's culture, which is only observed in the best IITs and NITs. Because of this, students studying civil engineering at prestigious NITs or old IITs frequently become excellent coders and obtain fantastic jobs. You should always keep in mind that the CEO of Google is a graduate of an old IIT's metallurgical department. Therefore, don't assume that studying mechanical/metallurgical engineering will just qualify you as a mechanical/core engineer. All students who are proficient in coding and data algorithms are welcome to apply to most software-related placement companies.

Hello,

Both NITs are outstanding in every way. However, NITK offers somewhat higher placements and rankings. The only college with a beach is NIT SURATHKAL, and it has a wonderful private beach.

NITK is a Nationally Important Institution. Despite how useless the rankings are, NITK is listed as one of the best engineering schools in the nation. Real and accurate evaluations are quite difficult to come by. The quality of an institution can only be accurately evaluated by those who have firsthand knowledge. It is crucial to remember that the teaching method is the most crucial factor to take into account while evaluating the Institute in terms of undergraduate courses.

The views of the students are crucial, yet they are unreliable for obvious reasons. No one dares criticise the course material, the calibre of instruction, or the evaluation process while they are a student because they are undoubtedly anxious about the marks or grade that the instructor will assign.
