NIT Warangal Course Admission 2024 - Fees, Date, Cutoff & Eligibility

National Institute of Technology, Warangal offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. NIT Warangal offers admission to 60 courses. NIT Warangal admission to B.Tech and M.Sc Integrated programme is based on candidates' performance in JEE Main. Admission to the M.Tech programme is offered on the basis of the candidate’s performance in GATE followed by CCMT counselling. For NIT Warangal admission to MBA, candidates have to appear for CAT/MAT followed by GD and PI. NIT Warangal MCA admission is offered on the basis of the performance of candidates in NIMCET followed by NIMCET counselling. 

NIT Warangal admission to M.Sc is done based on JAM score followed by CCMN counselling. Admission to Ph.D is offered based on a written test conducted in physical mode at NIT Warangal in the respective department. Later, candidates who qualify the written test are called for an interview.

NIT Warangal Application Process

• Candidates have to visit the official website of  NIT Warangal and fill the application form.

• The application forms can be downloaded from the “admissions” tab under the Academics link on the home page of NIT Warangal.

• Then, candidates need to select the course and download the application form.

• Candidates are required to fill the NIT Warangal application form correctly.

• Further, candidates are required to affix a passport-sized photograph and mention personal details followed by educational qualifications. They have to also sign the declaration.

• The NIT Warangal application fee can be paid online or offline via the demand draft issued in favor of “The Director, NIT Warangal” payable at SBH, NIT Warangal Branch.

• Later, the NIT Warangal application form, DD along with the following documents must be submitted at the institute either personally or via post.

NIT Warangal UG Admissions

National Institute of Technology, Warangal offers 11 undergraduate programmes. NIT Warangal courses at the UG level include B.Tech in 8 disciplines and M.Sc Integrated programmes. The course duration of B.Tech is 4 years and M.Sc Integrated is 5 years.

• Candidates are required to meet the eligibility criteria for NIT Warangal UG admission.

• Eligible candidates have to appear for JEE Main and obtain a valid score.

• Then, candidates must then register for JoSAA counselling based on their JEE Main scores.

• The admission into 5-year Integrated M.Sc. programmes is also based on the All India Rank obtained in JEE (Main).

• Candidates are shortlisted for admission based on seats assigned by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).

• Further, candidates who have been shortlisted are required to get their documents verified and pay course fees.

NIT Warangal PG Admissions 

National Institute of Technology, Warangal offers 36 postgraduate programmes. The PG courses offered by NIT Warangal are M.B.A, M.Sc., M.Tech and M.C.A. The course duration of M.Tech, M.C.A and M.B.A is 2 years.
