NIT Warangal Facilities
National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal facilities and infrastructure proves that it believes in offering an excellent educational experience to every student. - Boys Hostel
The Institute has excellent residential facilities for all the students admitted to the various courses. There are twenty hostel blocks (halls of residence) for men. Hostel administration is managed by a Chief Warden and a team of Wardens. Hostel Executive Committee takes decisions on routine matters. Students have representation on both the administrative bodies.
- Girls Hostel
NIT Warangal has two hostel blocks (halls of residence) for women. Wardens are available to take care of the students. Hostel Executive Committee takes decisions on routine matters. Students have representation on both the administrative bodies. Hostel office has full-fledged supporting staff and other workers.
- Medical/Hospital
National Institute of Technology Warangal health centre has 3 full-time regular medical officers and 2 part-time contract doctors assisted by paramedical staff. It has well established pathological lab facilities where urine and blood tests are done.
- Gym
The college has Gym facility for the students.
- Library
The central library, spread across an area of 4000 sq. mts, has around 1,79, 797 books, e-books, back volumes, CD-ROMs, video cassettes, and technical pamphlets.
- Sports
The college has sports facilities for all students.
- I.T Infrastructure
The college has excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
- Cafeteria
NIT Warangal has 2 canteens – (i) New NIT Canteen and (ii) Staff Canteen that serves delicious and hygienic food.
- Auditorium
The institute has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.
- Transport Facility
The Institute maintains a number of vehicles to cater to the needs of the institute. The MT (Motor Transport) Section maintains these vehicles.
- Alumni Associations
The alumni association of the institute is very active with fifteen chapters in various cities of the country and international chapters in the USA, Middle East etc. The alumni of the institute can be found across the globe adorning very high positions in academics, industry, politics, administration, R&D, entrepreneurship etc. thus creating a global flavor and fragrance.
- Wifi
The college has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.
- Banks/ATMs
NIT Warangal has a bank (State Bank of India) and 2 SBI ATMs. The institute employees have their salaries credited to the SBI, and application forms for national level exams, such as JEE, CAT, and GATE, are sold in this bank.
- Convenience Store
The institute has a shopping centre that provides essential items to students and residents. It has a laundry shop, hair cutting salon, and a xerox shop that regularly remains open from 9 am to 8 pm. The institute also has a post office located beside the boys’ hostels that works on all weekdays between 10 am to 5 pm and from 9 am to 2 pm on Saturdays.
- Guest Room/Waiting Room
The NIT Warangal has three guest houses – Kalam International Hall, Main Guest House, and Visitor’s Block. The guest houses have single and double occupancy rooms and suites equipped with boarding and lodging facilities.

College has each and every equipment in the laboratory,there is also a gym with various equipment but the teaching assistant are not good They don't know how to used the equipment properly so otherwise college has everything

Buildings are decent but the washrooms especially for girls are not maintained at all. Women’s hostel is also pathetic unless you’re in 3rd year. Other than that, labs and all are decent and the classrooms are fine too, could inculcate air conditioning though

Yeah. There is a pretty good college infrastructure. It meets all the basic requirements of students like libraries, labs, workshops, gyms, Wi-Fi facilities etc. The surroundings are hygiene and well maintained. The food is good and you have two separate mess halls for veg and non-veg.
which is the best Sir CSE in IIT Hyderabad or CSC in NIT Warangal
IIT Hyderabad CSE is better. It offers better salary packages and exposure. According to the recent highlights of IIT Hyderabad, the average CTC for the CSE branch is around INR 20 LPA. Hyderabad is an IT hub and has all major corporate houses in the IT sector. For CSE, IIIT Hyderabad is better than all IITs, in terms of research, internships, packages, etc. In 2021, IIIT Hyderabad placements had witnessed the highest CTC of INR 56 LPA. The coding culture at the institute is unbeatable. For branches other than CSE, IIT B is definitely the better choice. IIIT Hyderabad has more reputation and is better in terms of academics and competitive aspects. In terms of syllabus, IIIT Hyderabad has an updated syllabus. For cse students, coding starts from year 1. When it comes to the quality of education provided IITs are ahead of the NITs. Both IITs and NITs are extremely good in providing education and producing good engineers, but at the same time the top IIT colleges have an edge because of their high standard of studies.
IITH creates a unique holistic ecosystem for education that offers interactive learning, a very flexible academic structure, cutting-edge research, strong industry collaboration, and entrepreneurship. This is an environment which enables students and faculty to translate their dreams into realities.
Most of the IIT pass-outs go abroad at higher salaries starting from 2 lakhs or more monthly packages through the Campus Placements. The job opportunities in NITs are also quite assumable! With a package starting from 8,00,000 or above and the chances of International jobs can be expected in NITs.
Around 20% students in their final year at the National Institute of Technology (NIT-Jamshedpur) couldn't appear in the virtual campus placement owing to poor internet connectivity.

Congratulations for that great rank in JEE MAINS. You may have done lots of hard work and that always pays off.
Coming into the context can easily get CSE in NIT Warangal. The closing rank for OBC NCL In female is 1983. So, you could get that seat easily.
You have some more options to seek. You can easily get in these too
- Electronics and Communication Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology) in National Institute of Technology, Rourkela .
- Artificial Intelligence (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology) in National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal.
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology) in National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli .
But my suggestion is that you can prefer joining for CSE in NITW.
The placements are very good at it specially in CSE.

NIT Warangal Mechanical or IGDTUW CSE? Which is better?
Hello,
NIT Warangal Mechanical should not be preferred above IGDTUW CSE.
Because of industrial demand in the modern world, elite branches like CSE and ECE are dominating in placement scenarios.
Now, if you don't have a preference for one branch over another and wish to earn the Nit tag, apply to NIT Warangal.
On the other hand, the prospects at IGDTUW would be excellent for placements if you are interested in coding and want to work in the IT field in the future. Additionally, since you'll be in Delhi, college life would be fantastic there.
I would advise choosing IGDTUW!
