To secure admission to BA LLB programme candidates need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
Candidates must pass 10+2/ equivalent examination with a minimum of:
45% marks or equivalent for candidates belonging to General/PWD/OBC and
For SC/ST candidates- 40% marks or equivalent.
If a candidate is appearing for 10+2 exams can also appear for the test but their admission will be subject to the conditions specified by the university.
No upper age limit has been specified for the undergraduate programmes.
Candidates need to appear for CLAT 2023 exams by filling the CLAT application forms for admission to the university.
To get admission to LLM programme in NLSIU Bangalore candidates need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
Candidates must have a LLB degree or an equivalent degree with a minimum of
50% marks for general/OBC/PWD candidates.
45% for SC/ST candidates.
Candidates if they are appearing for the qualifying examination can also take the admission test, but their admission will be subject to terms and conditions as specified by the university.
The university has specified no upper age limit for PG programmes in CLAT.

The Campus is 23 acres, spread out yet well-knit and very green. There are many trees with loads of birds. The library is arguably the best among all law schools in the country. There are gym facilities and health centers and mental health support groups. There is an indoor table tennis facility, basketball court, football stadium, and yoga center. Students are also allowed to use the Sports Authority of India facilities. There are plans for large-scale infrastructure expansion.
For taking admission in NLSIU Bangalore, you must have passed 10+2 exams in the first attempt with at least 50% for general category and for SC ST it is 45% .
