Navrachana University, Vadodara Admission Details: Eligibility, Dates, Application, Fees

Navrachana University (NUV) offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in science, journalism, mass communication and architecture. Candidates seeking admission to various courses need to submit their application online and pay the admission fee. Candidates will be invited for the entrance test. Based on the entrance test result candidates will be selected for a particular course. Candidates appearing to the engineering, technology and business management courses need to appear through the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC). The detailed admission process of the courses offered by NUV is given below:

The admission process for BBA, BBA-LLB, BCA, BA (Journalism & Mass Comm), BSc, BSc-MSc Biomedical, B.Sc-Data Science, B.Design-Interior, BLAD,  B.Ed and MSW:

To apply to the above-mentioned courses, candidates need to apply online and pay the application fee.

They have to appear for the entrance test conducted by NUV.

Further, the shortlisted candidates have to submit the documents for verification and deposit the admission fee.

The admission process to the B.Tech, B.Arch and MBA:

• Candidates need to appear for GUGCET/JEE Main.
• NVU offers admission to 50 per cent seats on the basis of JEE score, while the remaining 50% seats are offered via ACPC.
• Further, to get admission to B.Tech at  NVU, candidates need to register for the counselling conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) of the Government of Gujarat.

The admission process for B.Arch:

Admission to B.Arch is based on the scores in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA).

Further, candidates need to register themselves on the official website of the Institute for counselling.

The final list will be prepared based on the result of the counselling conducted by the institute.

The admission process for MBA:

Students have to apply for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT).

Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) conducts counselling for MBA on the basis of the merit of CMAT.

The merit list will be prepared based on the weightage to percentile obtained by the candidate in CMAT.

Shortlisted candidates need to visit the NUV and complete the admission process, which includes fee payment and documents verification.

The admission process for Ph.D:

Navrachana University (NUV), offers Ph.D through its school of science, school of business and law, school of engineering and technology and school of liberal studies and education:

• Admission to Ph.D courses in engineering, management, law and science is made as per the guideline of the Navrachana University.

• Eligible candidates have to appear for an Entrance Test conducted by the NUV.

• The candidates who have qualified in the entrance test will be called for interview/viva-voce, conducted by the Department Research Committee. 

• Candidates with UGC-CSIR-NET/JRF, UGC-NET/JRF, SLET, GATE are exempted from the Entrance Test.

• The general merit list for the M.Phil./Ph.D. programme shall be prepared by the DRC on the basis of performance of the candidate in the entrance test, the interview/viva-voce.

• Interview judges the suitability of the applicant on the basis of applicant’s research aptitude, knowledge of the subject, a clear understanding of the proposed research problem, the suitability of proposed research methodology, research facilities available and availability of the research supervisor in the proposed research area etc. 

• Shortlisted candidates need to report to the respective centres of the University and complete the admission process which includes document verification and fee payment.
