Nirma University Courses & Fees Structure 2023

To encourage and help the meritorious students, the University provides different scholarships every year. The eligibility criteria and amount for awarding scholarships vary from institute to institute. For full time doctoral programmes, the students should complete the first two years/ three years in the doctoral programme. Nirma University provides  financial support to meritorious students in the form of scholarships based on merit, and merit-cum-means studying in various institutes under the University based on the merit of admission. Students in MTech and MPharm programmes are given scholarships. On the basis of scores in  GATE/GPAT are given a higher scholarship.

Nirma University, Ahmedabad is a private university established in the year 2003. The university has been accredited with Grade ‘A+’ by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Nirma University offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes under several streams such as engineering, architecture, commerce, design, law among others. Nirma University admission to all the courses is both entrance and merit-based. The university every year offers financial assistance to meritorious students.

As per NIRF Ranking 2022, Nirma University was ranked in the band of 101-150 in the year 2022. It was ranked 125 for engineering, 45 for management, 28 in Pharmacy and 21 in Architecture as per NIRF in 2022. Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) 2022 ranks Nirma University as the second best university in the list of Top 100 Private Universities (Overall) in the February-March 2022 issue of the Education Post magazine.

Nirma University admission is both entrance and merit-based for its  undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degree programmes. Admission to B.Pharma is based on the test conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses, Gujarat. For Nirma University admission to M.Tech and M.Pharma, candidates must obtain a valid score in GATE and GPAT. However, for non-GATE and non-GPAT candidates the university conducts its own written test. Admission to Nirma University M.B.A programme is offered based on CAT and GMAT scores.

Nirma University has signed MOUs with several international institutions and universities in order to provide international exposure to students and faculty. It has signed MOUs with  some international universities like HOF University, Germany, Skyline University College, UAE, Skyline University College, UAE, Skyline University College, UAE, Coventry University, UK, University of Newcastle, Australia and PPM School of Management, Indonesia.

The university provides 100% financial support of the tuition fee to meritorious students in the form of scholarships based on merit, and merit-cum-means studying in various institutes under the University based on the merit of admission. Students in MTech and MPharm programmes are given scholarships based on their score in GATE/GPAT.

Nirma University is  recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2 (f) of the UGC Act. The University is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).Nirma University has been accredited with Grade ‘A+’ by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in 2022.

Nirma University was established in the year 2003 by the proposal of the  Nirma Education and Research Foundation (NERF) which was approved by  the Government of Gujarat. It was established under a special Act passed by the Gujarat State Legislative Assembly. The University Grants Commission (UGC) duly recognised the University under Section 2 (f) of the UGC Act. Nirma Education and Research Foundation (NERF) was established  in the year 1994 with a vision to promote higher education and to provide excellent educational facilities to the youth in India.

The eligibility criteria for admission to the Nirma University B.Des programme is that the candidate must have secured at least 50% marks in 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognised board.

The collaborations of Nirma University are Space Applications Centre, Physical Research Laboratory, Institute for Plasma Research, Intas Pharmaceuticals, Piramal Pharmaceuticals and many others.
