NERIST Nirjuli: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

The North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology Nirjuli was founded in 1984. NERIST Nirjuli is a deemed-to-be university that is autonomous, fully sponsored, and managed by the Government of India's Ministry of Education (formerly MHRD). The NERIST Nirjuli offers four levels of programmes that include undergraduate, diploma, postgraduate, and doctoral. The NERIST Nirjuli courses include B.Tech, B.Sc, L.L.B, B.A.L.L.B, M.Tech., M.Sc, MBA, Diploma, and Ph.D The candidates should meet the NERIST Nirjuli eligibility criteria for the desired course.

Before applying for the NERIST Nirjuli admissions the candidate should appear for the relevant entrance examination such as NEE /GATE/PET/CAT/MAT. The NERIST Nirjuli admissions will be based on the entrance examination scores. The institute offers various infrastructural facilities on campus. The NERIST Nirjuli facilities have separate accommodation, a library, an auditorium, a medical/hospital, and many other facilities. The NERIST Nirjuli placement cell handles all the final placement activities of the students. The institute offers scholarships for students.

NERIST Nirjuli Courses & Fees

At each level of the degree, NERIST Nirjuli provides a variety of specialisations. The NERIST Nirjuli courses are available in agricultural engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematics, law, forestry, and many other branches. The college provides 9 UG, 15 PG, 6 Diploma, and 22 Doctoral courses. The NERIST Nirjuli fees differ depending on the course and level.

NERIST Nirjuli Admissions 

To get admitted for the desired course the candidates must satisfy the NERIST Nirjuli eligibility criteria. The NERIST Nirjuli admissions will be based on the scores obtained in the entrance examination such as NEE/GATE/CAT/MAT/PET. Eligible candidates can apply for NERIST Nirjuli admissions by visiting the official website. NERIST Nirjuli Cutoff

Every year the cutoff varies for each programme and it differs for each category. The NERIST Nirjuli cutoff will be based on the score obtained in the JEE Mains examination. The factors that influence the NERIST Nirjuli cutoff are the difficulty level of the exam and previous years' JEE Mains Cutoff marks.

NERIST Nirjuli Scholarship

The government provides various NERIST Nirjuli scholarships to students. Students are strongly encouraged to apply for numerous state as well as federal scholarships in order to receive financial assistance while pursuing their selected course of study. NERIST Nirjuli scholarships may not be available to all students, and many may be ineligible to apply because some scholarships are exclusively available to students from underprivileged backgrounds, while others are awarded purely on merit to outstanding performance.

NERIST Nirjuli Facilities

The institute offers many facilities for the comfort of the students and staff. The NERIST Nirjuli facilities are separate hostels for boys and girls, a library with a good collection of books, department-based laboratories, an auditorium for organising events, a cafeteria that provides healthy meals, and many more. The medical/hospital is provided on campus, serving the students and staff. It provides doctor assistance in case of an emergency.

NERIST Nirjuli Location

NERIST Nirjuli is located at 4PJR+687, Nirjuli, Arunachal Pradesh 791109. The nearest airport to the institute is Jorhat Airport. Naharlagun railway station is the nearest railway station, about 12.23 km away, and students can reach the Institute campus in 20 minutes. The closest bus stop is Bandarduwa, which is around 12 km from the campus.
