The B. Tech programme is for 4 years duration. It is for the UG students. The admission process is given below.

Applicants should first appear for the JEE MAINS examination.

After receiving a valid scorecard, one must go through CENTAC application procedure.

Candidates will have to fill up the CENTAC application form online along with uploading necessary documents.

Marks obtained in the qualifying examination will be normalised with the marks obtained in boards examination (Tamil Nadu).

A merit list is released after normalising the marks.

Qualifying candidates will have to go through the counseling procedure. .

Document verification will be followed by admission of the candidate in PEC.

PEC Puducherry Admission Process for M. Tech. 

The M. Tech programme is for 2 years duration. It is for the PG students. The admission process for the same is given below.

Applicants have to first appear for the GATE examination and clear the qualifying cutoff score.

Applicants have to fill out the CENTAC application form online for M Tech admission.

Candidates are selected on the basis of their GATE marks or percentile.

The CGPA from 3rd to 8th semester of the UG course is considered if there's a tie between candidates due to the same GATE marks.

In case of any vacancy, the seats for M Tech students are then filled by non-GATE candidates.

The selected candidates have to go through counseling procedure and document verification before admission in PEC.

PEC Puducherry Admission Process for PhD 

The duration for the PhD programme is 6 years. After completing the masters course, one can apply for PhD programmes.The admission process is detailed below.

Applicants should apply for the interested PhD programme through the online website of Pondicherry University.

The candidates should also fill the Reservation Category Request (RCR) form.

An entrance examination is conducted for these PhD students. Whoever is a recipient of Junior Research Fellowship don’t have to appear for the entrance test.

Academic record is checked followed by interview as the final judging criteria.
