SPA, Bhopal was established by the Government of India as an institute of national importance in the year 2008 with a vision of producing the best architects and planners for the nation so that the physical and socio-environmental challenges can be dealt with effectively. SPA Bhopal strives to impart quality education to students at all levels of studies, i.e., under graduation, post-graduation, and doctoral levels in the field of Planning and Architecture. - Boys Hostel
The institute has a hostel for boys in Bhauri Campus. The hostel facility is equipped with all the necessary features that are required to make the stay comfortable. Each rooms has an attached balcony and accommodates two students.
Rooms are designed to accommodate two students in each room with balconies, cupboards, study table, bed and fans. Students have to use their own mattresses.

The institute has a hostel for girls in Bhauri Campus. Rooms are designed to accommodate two students in each room with balconies, cupboards, study table, bed and fans. Students have to use their own mattresses.
- Library
It holds true to the words of the creative and innovative centers of the institute, and to meet the mission of academic excellence, it strives to support the teaching, learning, and research activities of SPA, Bhopal. As stated on the institute’s website, it is one of the liveliest places on the academic campus of the institute.
- Laboratories
Graphic Labs: It has 2 laboratories with 28 computers in each laboratory. This place basically aims at inculcating in students the knowledge relevant to the latest techniques so that it can be used by the students later on in their respective fields of designing and others. There is continuous internet access, and the computers are equipped with software essential for planning and architecture, like AutoDesk, Corel draw, Photoshop, etc.
GIS Lab: Remote Sensing (RS) and Geographical Information System (GIS) have become inevitable in a digital world, which is required for us to thrive in it. It is an important part of the curriculum of students here at SPA, Bhopal, and the students are trained not only theoretically but also practically.
- Medical/Hospital
The Institute dispensary is located at Assistant Professor Quarters D-1 and operates 24x7 with an experienced medical practitioner from Chirayu Medical College & Hospital, Bhopal; all are MCI registered. In case of a medical emergency, an ambulance with well-equipped equipment with trained technicians is available 24x7 for taking the patient(s) to the hospital for the required treatment.

College Infrastructure
The campus here is 30 kilometres from the city, while institutes' regular bus service makes the travel convenient. While the infrastructure isn't complete as of 2018-Feb, we have 1 academic block assigned as the student's amenities block, 3-hostels, 1 football field (60m x30m), a cricket ground, 2x badminton courts, 1x basketball court, 3x table tennis tables, a well-equipped gym.
