SRMU Lucknow Admission Process

The admissions of Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University are offered at the diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. The streams in which admissions are offered include sciences, commerce, engineering & architecture, arts, humanities & social sciences, law, computer application & IT, management & business administration, education, mass communication & journalism, animation and design. Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University admissions in any course except L.L.M and B.Ed are offered on the basis of marks obtained in entrance examination. Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University admissions for L.L.M. courses are offered on the basis of entrance examination and interview. Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University admissions for B.Ed courses are offered on the basis of the candidate’s performance in personal interview. The eligibility criteria and the admission process for all the courses are given below:

B.Tech	Passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics along with the Chemistry/Computer Science/Technical Vocational subjects with 45% marks for GEN/OBC and 40% marks for SC/ST category.
B.Sc	Passed 10th with Science and obtained 45% marks for GEN/OBC and 40% marks for SC/ST category.
BA LLB Hons.
B.Com LLB Hons.	Passed 10th with Science and obtained 45% marks for GEN/OBC and 40% marks for SC/ST category.
BBA LLB Hons.
L.L.B.	Passed graduation with 45% marks for GEN, 42% for OBC and 40% marks for SC/ST Category.
B.Arch	Passed 10+2 examination with 50% in PCM and 50% marks in 10+2 level examination or passed 10+3 diploma examination with mathematics, 50% marks in aggregate, and qualified an aptitude test in Architecture conducted by the Council of Architecture.
B.Com (H)	Passed 10+2 with Commerce or related subjects/with 45% marks for GEN/OBC and 40% marks for SC/ST category. Candidates should have secured pass marks in Commerce or related Subjects/Maths.
B.A.	Passed 10+2 with English, 45% marks for Gen/OBC and 40% marks for SC/ST Category.
B.B.A.	Passed 10+2 with 45% marks or CGPA of 5.0 for Gen/OBC and 40% marks or CGPA of 4.5 for SC/ST Category.
B.C.A.	Passed 10+2 with Mathematics/Computer Science or related subjects with 45% marks for GEN/OBC and 40% marks for SC/ST Category.
B.Ed	Passed Graduation or Master's in Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities with 50% marks for Gen/OBC and 45% marks for SC/ST or Bachelor in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks for Gen/ OBC and 50% marks for SC/ ST Category.
L.L.M	Passed 3 Years L.L.B./5 Year integrated L.L.B./ equivalent degree with 50% marks or CGPA of 5.5 for Gen/OBC and 45% marks or CGPA of 5.0 for SC/ST category.
M.Sc.	Passed B.Sc. or Graduation with 45% marks or CGPA of 5.0 for Gen/OBC and 40% marks or CGPA of 4.5 for SC/ST Category.
M.Tech	Passed B.E or B.Tech. with 60% marks in aggregate (54% in case of reserved category candidates).
MBA	Passed Graduation with 50% marks or CGPA of 5.5 for Gen/OBC category and 45% marks or CGPA of 5.0 for SC/ST Category.
M.A.	Passed Graduation with 45% marks or CGPA of 5.0 for Gen/OBC and 40% marks or CGPA of 4.5 for SC/ST Category.
M.C.A.	A B.C.A./ B.Sc./ B.Com/ B.A. degree with 50% marks or CGPA of 5.5 for GEN/OBC and 45% marks or CGPA of 5.0 for SC/ST category and must have Mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduation.
Ph.D Law	A postgraduate degree with the relevant subject from any recognised college/university.

Candidates must apply online through the university's official website.
Candidates are required to appear in the university's entrance exams.
Candidates must also appear for a personal interview conducted by the university.
Merit list is prepared on the basis of the results of the entrance exams and personal interview.
Candidates who have been chosen for final admission can verify their documents and pay the entrance fee.

Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University Admission Procedure of B.Ed Course

Candidates must apply online through the official website of the university.
Candidates must appear for a personal interview conducted by the interview.
The merit list is compiled based on the results of the personal interview.
Candidates who have been chosen for final admission can pay the admission fee and verify their documents.

It must be noted that due to Covid-19 pandemic, all entrance examinations have been cancelled and direct admission is provided on the basis of marks scored in the qualifying examination for the academic session of 2021-22.

Yes. SRMU Barabnaki provides relaxation to students of reserved categories in eligibility criteria for various courses. For example in BA course, Students must have passed 10+2 with English, 45% marks for Gen/OBC and 40% marks for SC/ST Category.

2: What is the admission criteria for the MBA programme at SRMU Barabanki?

Yes. SRMU Barabanki has fixed Rs 100 as application fee for all the courses except Diploma in Engineering where it is Rs. 500.

Academics is pretty good though placements stats does not consolidate it but its still good. Professors are helping and culture is inducive and learning. Various projects and competitions add more fun to learning and growing.
