SCSVMV University Admission Details: Eligibility, Dates, Application, Fees

The university offers admissions to both UG and PG level courses. SCSVMV University admissions are offered to about 74 undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The UG admissions are offered to B.E /B.Tech, B.C.A, B.Sc., B.Com, B.B.A, B.A., B.Ed and B.A.M.S courses. SCSVMV University admissions are offered to the M.C.A, M.E /M.Tech., M.A., M.Sc., M.B.A, M.Phil. and M.Com courses at PG level. Admissions at SCSVMV University is either done on the basis of the entrance exam or merit-based. Admissions to the B.E/B.Tech (full-time) programmes are done based on the merit of the entrance exam- Uni-Gauge-E/ AISEEE (All India Sankara Engineering Entrance Examination) conducted by SCSVMV University followed by counselling. Candidates who have a valid Uni-Gauge-E score will not be required to take the entrance exam- AISEEE. SCSVMV University admissions to B.A.M.S is offered based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam- NEET-UG. In the meantime, admission to other UG courses except for B.A.M.S and B.E/B.Tech (full-time) is based on the merit of the qualifying exam. 

SCSVMV University admission to the M.B.A  programme is done through the entrance exam-  ATMA/CAT/JCET/MAT/JMAT/XAT. In case the candidates have not appeared for these exams, they need to appear for an entrance exam conducted by the university. The admission to all PG programmes except for M.B.A is based on the merit of the qualifying examination and shortlisted candidates for M.Phil admission have to appear for an interview. For the final SCSVMV University admission, candidates have to participate in the counselling process, get their documents verified and pay the required course fee.

The university offers B.E/B.Tech (full-time) programmes in different specialisations. SCSVMV University B.E programmes are available in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering,  Information Technology, Civil and Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering and Mechatronics Engineering. The course duration of B.E/B.Tech programme is 4 years. The eligibility criteria for the B.E programme is that candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category).

• Candidates have to apply and appear for the entrance exam  Uni-Gauge-E/ AISEEE (All India Sankara Engineering Entrance Examination) conducted by SCSVMV University and secure a valid score. 

• Candidates who have obtained a valid score in Uni-Gauge-E will not appear in the entrance exam- AISEEE.

• Based on the scores obtained in the above-mentioned entrance exam, candidates have to apply on the official website of SCSVMV University.

• Candidates are shortlisted based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam. 

• Later they have to participate in the counselling process and get their documents verified and then pay the course fee.

Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Mahavidyalaya University Admission- B.A.M.S 

The university offers a B.A.M.S programme. SCSVMV University admission is offered based on the merit of the entrance exam. The course duration of the B.A.M.S programme is 5.5 years. The required eligibility of the B.A.M.S is that candidates must pass in 10+2 exam or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology).

• Students have to apply and appear for NEET-UG and secure a valid score. 

• On the basis of the scores obtained in the NEET-UG exam, applicants have to apply online on the official website of the university.

• Shortlisting of applicants is based on the marks obtained in NEET-UG and the shortlisted applicants have to appear for the last stage of the SCSVMV University admission process.

The SCSVMV University admission to the remaining undergraduate programmes is based on the merit of the previous qualifying examination. The course duration of the remaining UG courses is 3 to 3.5 years.

• Candidates who want to pursue any SCSVMV University UG courses except for B.A.M.S and B.E/B.Tech (full-time) programmes have to fill the application form and submit the form along with all the required documents on the website of the university.

• Admission is based on the merit of the qualifying examination that is the aggregate percentage in class 12th.

• Candidates are shortlisted based on the merit of the qualifying examination and such candidates are eligible for the further SCSVMV University admission procedure.

• Shortlisted candidates are provisionally selected for the admission process until the last stage of the SCSVMV University admission process gets completed.

• Selected candidates have to participate in the university level counselling process and get their documents verified and pay the requisite fee to confirm their admission.

• Thus, the final admission of the candidates is based on the merit of the qualifying exam, participation in the counselling process, document verification and fee payment.

SCSVMV University Admission- M.B.A

Admission to the M.B.A programme is done based on the candidates’ performance in the entrance examination. The seat intake of M.B.A is 60. The basic eligibility criteria of the M.B.A programme is that the candidates must have a recognised undergraduate degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. The course duration of the M.B.A programme is 2 years.

• Candidates have to apply and appear for the national level entrance exam- CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/JMAT/JCET and secure a valid score.

• Candidates need to submit an online application on the official website of Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Mahavidyalaya, Kanchipuram.

• Candidates who have not appeared for any one of the national level exams need to appear for the entrance exam conducted by SCSVMV University.

• Based on the marks secured in the entrance examination, a merit list is prepared for shortlisting candidates for the further SCSVMV admission process.

The remaining PG programmes except M.B.A are M.C.A, M.E/M.Tech, M.A, M.Sc, M.Com and M.Phil. The university offers M.A courses in three specialisations such as Sanskrit, Tamil and English. SCSVMV University M.Phil programmes are also offered in 9 specialisations and they are Sanskrit, Chemistry, Computer Science, Education, English, Management, Mathematics, Physics and Tamil. Admissions are based on the merit of the qualifying examination. Later, the shortlisted candidates for the M.Phil admission have to appear for an interview.
