SRIHER Chennai:

Sri Ramachandra Educational and Health Trust established the university in 1985 as the Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute. In 1994, the Indian government designated the Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research as a deemed university. University Grants Commission (UGC) recognition is given to the Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research. The university has received grade A++ accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The National Accreditation Board for Hospitals (NABH), AERB, NABL, and ISO 9001:2000 certifications all accredit the university. The goals of SRIHER are to foster competent professionals and obedient members of society while achieving excellence in health care, education, and research.

The university offers a number of different programmes, including B.Sc., B.B.A., Pharm.D., B.ASLP, B.O.T., B.P.T., B.Sc. (H), B.Optom, B.Pharma, B.Tech, M.Sc., M.P.T., M.Pharma, M.B.A., M.P.H., and M.Phil. Candidates must adhere to the university admissions requirements in order to enrol in courses at the Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research. Where required, candidates must show up for an admission exam or an interview. Students are also given placement opportunities, scholarships, and other necessary facilities at the campus.

SRIHER Courses:

The programmes are available at several undergraduate, graduate, and M.Phil levels. Candidates must first meet the requirements in order to apply for the Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research courses. Candidates who meet the qualifying requirements can move on to the university's admissions procedure.

SRIHER Admissions:

Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research involves an interview, and the other involves an all-India entrance exam for admissions into the courses. Admission to the B.Sc., B.B.A., M.Sc., M.P.T., M.Optom., and M.P.H. programmes requires an interview. For SRIHER admission to the Pharm.D., B.ASLP, B.O.T., B.P.T., B.Sc. (H), B.Optom, Pharm.D. Post Baccalaureate, M.Sc., M.Pharma course, M.B.A., and M.Phil programmes, an entrance exam is administered.

SRIHER Scholarships: 

Candidates are given Alumni scholarships. Students who adhere to the rules and regulations at the Institute are eligible for the SRIHER Scholarships. Aspirants belonging to undergraduate and postgraduate courses are eligible for the scholarships. Students are given this financial assistance to pursue further studies at the institution.

SRIHER Placements:

The university's placement cell assists in the placement of final-year students. Additionally, it offers a variety of pre-placement training sessions, including workshops, seminars, mock interviews, guest lectures, and industrial visits. GE Healthcare, Lenskart.com, AstraZeneca, Fitness One, TNQ, and Pfizer, to mention a few, have made campus visits for SRIHER placements.

SRIHER Facilities:

The institution is equipped with a wide range of amenities, including a boys' and a girls' residence hall, a library, transportation, a gym, a canteen, an auditorium, a clinic, IT facilities, laboratories, convenience stores and many others. The SRIHER facilities has separate dorms for boys and girls. The well-furnished dorm rooms offer constant access to electricity and water. Numerous materials are available in the university library, including books, CDs, DVDs, journals, periodicals, and theses.

SRIHER Location:

The Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research is situated in Porur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, at No. 1, Ramachandra Nagar. To get to the institution, there are many travel options. It is 13 kilometres away and would take a cab or an automobile about 30 minutes to get there. Avadi Railway Station is the one that is closest with a distance of 13.2 kilometres. To get to SRIHER in a cab or car would take around 29 minutes. The closest bus stop is Gangai Amman Kovil with a distance of  4.4 miles.
