SRHU Dehradun Facilities

Swami Rama Himalayan University ensures that students get the best resources and facilities for the smooth learning process. SRHU provides all the basic facilities to help students in their academic and other co-curricular activities. SRHU facilities include a library, hostel, canteen, sports complex, gym, guest house, auditorium etc. Students can also avail transport facilities provided by the university. The central library of SRHU has a vast collection of books and journals on various topics. SRHU canteen facilities offer students fresh quality at nominal rates. Boys Hostel
SRHU has a separate hostel for boys. The campus residential facilities are available for students, staff, and faculty members. SRHU Hostel facilities include telephone, daily newspaper, common room etc.
Girls Hostel
SRHU hostel facilities are available for female students. SRHU hostel facilities include telephone, common rooms, newspaper etc. The university makes sure that student’s accommodation needs are fulfilled.
Medical/Hospital
SRHU has established a 1200-bed in-campus hospital known as Himalayan Hospital. The hospital is located on the campus, for students to have quick access to healthcare facilities. The hospital has an ultra-modern Intensive Care Unit, Coronary Care Unit (CCU), Surgical ICU (SICU), Paediatric ICU (PICU), Neonatal ICU (NICU), Cardio Vascular Surgical ICU (CTVS ICU). The healthcare facilities are available 24/7 to students, staff and faculty members.
Gym
SRHU offers gym facilities to the students, the university ensures that students are getting all the opportunities to pursue healthier habits while on the campus. SRHU makes sure that students are taking care of their physical and mental well being.
Library
The central library has a rich collection of book, journal, e-journals etc. The library of SRHU has separate reference and thesis sections to impart a suitable environment for research scholars. SRHU library has a varied collection of more than 17,000, foreign journals, e-journals 119 Indian Journals. It has a rich collection of over 5400 back volumes of journals. Apart from this, students can also access over 4 lakh books through World Book Library online.
Sports
SRHU believes that sports is a necessary part of education and for this, the university has a created a huge sports environment. Students are constantly encouraged to participate in more and more sports activities.
I.T Infrastructure

Swami Rama Himalayan University has a canteen tha provides home-like food to students and faculty. Students can hang out in the university canteen with friends in their free time.
Auditorium
Various university events are being held in the state-of-the-art auditorium that can accommodate a good number of students. The auditorium is fully air-conditioned and equipped with the latest audio-video technology.
Transport Facility
The transport department of SRHU has 59 vehicles including 17 luxury buses, 7 ambulances, in-house workshops, and a petrol station.SRHU offers transport facilities to students and faculty members to help them commute from home to the university and vice versa.

College Infrastructure

The college has an amazing infrastructure, which is really commendable. The whole Campus is filled with trees and herbs and is surrounded by greenery all over. The laboratories have all the necessary equipment and specimens needed for all experiments. Smart boards are present and libraries have all the required books. Everything is well-maintained, 24 hours WiFi facility is available in hostels and campus. The food provided here is hygienic and good.
