There are a handful of prerequisites for Digital Photography: Discover your Genre and Develop your Style certification by FutureLearn. You must have a basic understanding of digital photo editing and photographic techniques. Basic computer skills are also a must. Then, you will need a camera with some controls and settings (aperture, shutter speed, or automatic settings). You will also need photo-editing application software on your computer or smart device. 

Certificate Qualifying Details

Eligibility for 10 UK credits and the microcredential by FutureLearn depends on the passing of final assessment. You will have to submit a panel of artistic images in a genre of your own choice, plus a written “Statement of Intent” as part of a coherent portfolio of work. A certificate for Digital Photography course on FutureLearn will be awarded for free to members of the Royal Photographic Society. Non-members will have to pay an additional £12 to receive the certificate.

Step 2. Tap on the “Join Now” button which has the course price on it too. A registration form page will appear.

Step 3. Sign up via a valid email ID or simply log in by linking your existing Facebook or Google account.

Step 4. The eligibility-check page will open in the tab. Confirm your eligibility and click the checkbox. 

Step 5. A detailed form appears now. Fill in all the necessary information. Check for its accuracy and click on “Next.”

Step 6. Now, you will have to upload a valid photo ID for identity verification purposes. Upload the ID with details matching your previously filled details and click “Next.”

Step 7. Accept the declaration form and hit “Next.”

Step 8. The checkout page will open in your browser. Fill your information on the payment gateway and pay the fee
