TNDALU Chennai Facilities

The Tamilnadu Dr Ambedkar Law University, Chennai offers various academic and infrastructural facilities to the students and faculty members of the institute including moot court halls, library, hostels, library, seminar halls, classrooms, sports etc. More information on all the TNDALU facilities provided by the institute are mentioned below.

Hostels- The Tamilnadu Dr Ambedkar Law University, Chennai provides separate hostels to boys and girls. Students have to fill the application forms for hostels separately and rooms are allotted based on the availability. All the hostel rooms are provided with basic furniture and facilities. Mess facilities are also available for hostellers which serves good quality and hygienic food to students.
Smart Classrooms- The classrooms are provided with all modern facilities including smart boards so that students can seek information and take classes without any inconvenience. Also, teaching becomes much easier for the professors with such advanced facilities.
Seminar Halls- All the seminar halls are well equipped with all advanced technology and facilities where all seminars, training sessions and guest lectures are conducted. Many seminar sessions at both National and International levels have been conducted.
Library- The library of TNDALU Chennai is well equipped with text books, reference books, back volumes of journals and reports etc covering various aspects of law. The library also has a collection of books and other materials on research, general reference, current awareness. The library also subscribes to e-resources. Other services like printing, scanning and binding are also available inside the library.
Moot Court Halls- The Tamilnadu Dr Ambedkar Law University, Chennai has provided moot court halls where students can practice benchmark rounds, intra-university challengers and other moot court activities. Students are also provided training sessions on drafting briefs (memorials), oral arguments, research works by eminent judges, lawyers and guest faculty members.
Sports facilities- Various sports facilities are provided by TNDALU for the students. Various playgrounds for playing cricket, volleyball, kho-kho, kabaddi, track and field events.

Girls Hostel
The University has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
Medical/Hospital
The University has a health center with first aid facility for the students.
Library
The library is the heart of any academic institution and plays a key role in all academic activities and more so in law institutions as well as in law firms. Keeping in this mind, the library has been planned and is being developed by a team of qualified professional library staff and guided by the Library Council. It has a collection of over 19,000 volumes covering a wide range of general and special law subjects consisting of textbooks, reference books, back volumes of journals and reports etc. The library has adopted an open access system so as to facilitate readers to have easy access and retrieval of library and information resources. To assist the students and research scholars in locating literature as well as information in their areas of research, general reference, current awareness, and computerized catalog have been introduced.
Sports
The University has the sports facilities for all students.
I.T Infrastructure
The University has excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
Cafeteria
The University has a canteen facility for staff and students.
Auditorium
The University has an auditorium facility for events and seminar.
Moot Court
The University having MootCourt for the Practice, also also having MootCourt Association.
Classrooms
The University has the Well-furnished Classroom facility available on the campus.
Boys Hostel
The University has a Boys hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

when 5 year BA.LLB classes going to start.

Hello Aspirant,

I hope you are doing well.

Students who have been accepted into the first year of the five-year integrated BA-LLB programme will begin their first term on August 23. The BA-LLB programme has two terms every academic year and follows a semester structure. According to the notification posted on SPPU's website, the first term will begin on August 23 and expire on December 22 of this year.

when B.A.LLB 5yrs course addmission started for 2022-2023and how to fill application through online or offline?

Hello aspirant,

Admissions to BA LLB 5 years program are made based on the CLAT exam's All India Merit Rank. Candidates are selected based on their ranking. Shortlisted candidates must then attend an on-campus counselling session and complete final admissions paperwork i.e offline.

Results and cut offs are yet to be announced.
