College Infrastructure

The college infra is good. There are enough facilities available for students to utilize, especially for students of BSc. The campus is hygienic and well-maintained. It is an old heritage, and does justice to its roots.

this clg is quite a good choice for persuing honours degree

College Infrastructure

outstanding infrastructure. huge buildings with large classrooms with plenty of lifts and ac. wifi and smart boards are there. laboratory, library,sports centres are user friendly. the only faulty thing is the bathroom which r not at all hygienic.

If I appear for both MAT and the test exam conducted by Burdwan University for MBA then which marks will accepted at the time of admission?

Hello Swagata,

If you have appeared for MAT exam and the test exam conducted by Burdwan University, the university will consider the MAT score for giving admission to MBA.

Top 70 candidates with highest marks in the exam will be called for group discussion and viva voice test. The exam is out of 400 marks.

1: What is the fee of MBA in Distance Education at Burdwan University?

The MBA programme fee structure in Distance Education at Burdwan University is divided into Rs 200 as registration fees, Rs 15,000 per semester fees, Rs 1,000 as examination fees. For late admission candidates will have to pay a charge of Rs 200. If a candidate is re-appearing in any paper, s/he have to pay Rs 500 for two papers and Rs 1,000 for more than two papers.

2: Does BU offer research programmes?

The Burdwan University offers several research fellowship programmes in PhD and M.Phil. The university also has a dedicated Research Development Cell (RDC). The university has also developed Swami Vivekananda Advance Research Centre (S.V.A.R.C.) in its campus for research based studies. Recently, the university has also formed multiple Committees in compliance with the guidelines for establishment of Research & Development Cell in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) for developing and strengthening the Research Eco System.

Burdwan University offers a total of 152 courses at Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral level. The university offer courses across multiple streams like Commerce, Law , Education, Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, among others. BU even offers B.Sc courses in 19 specialisations.
