University of Kashmir (KU) is the state university of Kashmir and it was established in 1948. Kashmir University has been approved by the UGC and its NIRF ranking for 2020 in the overall category is 48. However, in NIRF 2021 ranking, the University of Kashmir has been ranked 76th in the overall category. The varsity has maintained consistency in the university category of the NIRF ranking as it has been ranked 48 in the NIRF ranking 2021 and 2020 as well.
NAAC has awarded an ‘A+’ grade to KU. The University of Kashmir offers more than 70 courses and the total student enrollment is more than 16 thousand. The total number of faculty in KU is 408 and the campus size is around 328 acres.
The main campus of KU is divided into three parts - Mirza Bagh campus, Hazratbal campus and Naseem Bagh campus. The university has many clubs. University of Kashmir clubs are present to provide the students a platform to explore and showcase their talents. These clubs also help the students in learning essential skills which will help them in the future. Kashmir University clubs are -

University of Kashmir committees provide a safe environment for the students. These committees check the discipline and safety in the university and take appropriate action whenever required. Merit scholarships, research scholarships and student aid are the scholarships offered by the university. Students who have taken admission in any of the courses are eligible for merit scholarships. Eligible students can avail themselves of two merit scholarships. One merit scholarship is offered based on merit in the entrance examination and the other is based on merit in the college examinations. University of Kashmir research scholarships are awarded by each department. Four scholarships are awarded by each department and the basic requirement for this is research leading to the award of Ph.D./MPhil degrees. Student aid is also a Kashmir University scholarship. Many scholarships are offered by the University of Kashmir. Kashmir University scholarships include merit scholarships, research scholarships and student aid. A wide range of facilities is provided by the University of Kashmir. Kashmir University facilities include residential facilities, a library, sports facilities, cafeteria, auditorium, medical facilities and many other facilities. The university provides separate hostels for boys and girls. All basic amenities have been provided in the hostels. The university library has a huge collection of books and other resources to help the students with their academics. The department of pharmaceutical sciences, University of Kashmir have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. The department have digital classrooms like smart boards, the laboratories are fully equipped with advanced instruments, we have a good library in our department as well as we have a central library of our university besides we have separate hostel for boys and girls having all facilities including wifi. The living spaces are clean and the food is hygienic.
The structure is really out of the box as it looks majistic for one to merely look at . The beautiful view of Dal is mesmerizing with Chinars all over the place. The library is highly standard and labs are well equipped.

To take admission in MCA course a candidate must have minimum 60% in in their BCA or B.sc (CSE) or B.sc (IT), or any other computer related degree like B.tech CSE/IT from a recognized university.
As you have BA degree so you are not eligible to take admission in MCA course.
