Kerala University Admission Process

The university offers admissions at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Kerala University admissions are offered in the following areas: law, constitutional and administrative law, mass communication, commerce, social work, library and information science, general management, computer applications, fine arts, physical education, planning engineering, computer science engineering etc. Kerala University admissions to undergraduate courses except for B.F.A. and B.PEd. are offered based on academic merit. There is an entrance test conducted by the university for admission to B.F.A. and B.P.Ed.

For Kerala University PG admissions, candidates need to appear for an entrance examination. A rank list shall be made based on candidates performance in the entrance examination. For sponsored candidates, ranking shall be based on 80% weightage for CGPA/aggregate marks at bachelor level and 10% for work experience (1%/year) and 10% for an interview conducted by Department Council. Candidates who wish to take admission to the University of Kerala must follow the Kerala University admission process. Students willing to take admission to the University of Kerala must fill the Kerala University application form. To fill the application form, students must register themselves on the official website of Kerala University.

Candidates must visit the official website of Kerala University and click on the ‘click here for registration.
A registration form will appear, candidates are required to fill in all the necessary details.
Candidates will receive an application number that they need to keep until the final Kerala University admissions.
Click on login and enter the application number and password created at the time of registration.
Once logged in, candidates have to click on ‘proceed’ and ‘pay online’.

Kerala University Admissions - UG Programmes

The university offers 6 courses at the undergraduate level. Undergraduate courses are B.Arch, B.P.Ed., B.B.A, B.C.A., B.F.A., B.S.W., etc. Admission to undergraduate courses except for B.F.A and B.P.Ed. will be based on academic merit. There will be an entrance test for B.F.A and B.P.Ed. admissions at the University of Kerala. It must be noted that B.Arch admissions shall be subject to the passing of the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture.

Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the university.
