The registration process for the CUET-UG examination will begin shortly. The exam will be held from May 15 to 31, 2024.
The University of Lucknow (UL) was established in the year 1920. The university campus is spread across 223 acres of land. Lucknow University consists of 16 institutes. There are more than 20 thousand students enrolled in the university and the total faculty is around 340. Lucknow University is a state-run public university and has been recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university is also approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI), National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Arts, Unani, Ayurveda, Engineering and Technology, Commerce, Education, Fine Arts, Law and Science are some of the faculties of Lucknow University. There are a total of 50 departments at the university. Lucknow University courses include B.A, B.Com, B.Tech, B.Sc, LL.B, B.B.A, B.C.A, M.A., M.Sc, M.B.A., M.Ed, LL.M, M.C.A. and PhD. Before applying for admission, applicants should meet the Lucknow University eligibility criteria. Lucknow University admissions are based on the performance of the students in the entrance examinations. The university accepts JEE Main/CUET-UG/CUET-PG examination scores for B.Tech/B.Pharma/MCA admissions, respectively. For the rest of the programmes, Lucknow University conducts its own entrance examinations.
Lucknow University provides many facilities for the students so that their stay becomes easy during their academic life. Separate hostels for boys and girls, a gym, sports facilities, laboratories, libraries, a computer centre and medical facilities are available for the students. Students can also avail of central and state government scholarship schemes. Lucknow University also has a placement cell that is responsible for placement-related activities. Lucknow University scholarships come under the Student Welfare Fund (SWF). There are two schemes that come under the University of Lucknow scholarships - the Chhatra Kalyan Scholarship and the Karmyogi Scheme. SC/ST scholarship is also one of the scholarships. The selection of applicants who require financial aid under the Chhatra Kalyan Scholarship and Karmyogi Scheme is decided by a committee whose chairperson is the Dean of Student Welfare (DSW). There are various sources for SWF and these are - annual contributions from each student, fines paid by students, late fees, and voluntary contributions. Lucknow University having a huge campus spread over seventy-five acres in middle of Lucknow city.Classrooms are clean but not provided digital board ie smart boards.wi fi is also available in the campus.
The facilities at our college are very good. Chemical labs are very safe for students. Classrooms are very neat and clean. The library provides air conditioning. The hostel is huge. The lights are very good. There is a huge ground for playing multiple sports.
One of the most beautiful universities in the city as well as the county. As Lucknow is the city of Nawabs the infrastructure of the college was just on point. It is just like a palace and is immensely beautiful. The classrooms, hostels, and libraries are just amazing with exceptional facilities.

The minimum marks required for General and Other Backward Classes candidates is 40% of marks in Intermediate or equivalent examination and for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes is 33% of marks in Intermediate or analogous examination. The total weightage for DU LLB Entrance Exam is 400 marks.
