The university provides courses at four levels: diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level. Vels University course list consists of diploma, UG, PG, integrated and doctoral courses. B.Tech, B.Pharma, B.A., B.C.A., L.L.M, M.B.A., M.Pharma, Ph.D etc. are a few of the courses offered by the university. Vels Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies courses are provided in engineering, pharmacy, law, commerce, management and various other disciplines. The Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) and Master of Engineering (M.E) programmes are offered in 9 and 4 specialisations respectively. B.E Computer Science and Engineering and B.E Mechanical Engineering courses of the varsity are accredited by the National Body of Accreditation (NBA). The varsity provides both full time and part time courses.
