Vishwakarma University, Pune UG Admission

Vishwakarma University, Pune is a top university in India offering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The university has an open admission policy that allows students from all backgrounds and walks of life to pursue higher education. 

• To be eligible for admission to a UG course at Vishwakarma University, applicants should fulfil the following criteria:
• Must have completed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 50% in PCM/PCB/PCMB.
• Must have obtained valid scores in the Entrance Test (VUNET) conducted by the university.
• Obtained valid scores in the Joint Entrance Test (VUPET) conducted by the university for admission in B.Tech programmes.
• Must have obtained valid scores in the qualifying examination as specified by the respective department/college.
• Produce the original documents for verification at the time of admission.

Vishwakarma University, Pune PG Admission

• For postgraduate programs, the eligibility criteria are as follows: 
• Applicant must have completed a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the relevant Bachelor’s degree. 
• Must have passed the university’s entrance test (VUNET) or the university’s Post Graduate Entrance Test (VUPET). 
• Also, meet any additional criteria specified by the university for particular programs. 

Vishwakarma University, Pune Ph.D Admission

The following are eligible to seek admission to the Ph.D. programme:

• Candidates who have completed a Master's degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent.
• A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade is allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS).
• Provided that a candidate seeking admission after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree programme should have a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed. A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS).
• Candidates who have completed the M.Phil. programme with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed or equivalent qualification from a foreign educational institution accredited by an assessment and accreditation agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country to assess, accredit or assure quality and standards of educational institutions, will be eligible for admission to the Ph.D. programme. A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently- Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS).

At Vishwakarma University, Pune, admission is basically done in two ways, online and offline mode. 

Online Form Filling

• Click On “Apply for Admission” Button.
• This is the online admission functionality of Vishwakarma University (VU), Pune. Refer and understand all information tabs regarding Approvals, Fees, Documents, Hostel etc.
• After clearing all queries / doubts click on “Secure Provisional Admission” Button. It will guide you through following steps.
• Step 1 : Fill up Basic Information (Application Form) – Proceed to Apply – Pay Rs. 1000/- (Non-Refundable) as application fee towards Provisional Admission.
• Step 2 : Fill up Detail Provisional Admission Form and Pay Rs. 25,000/- (First Instalment) to secure provisional Admission.
• At every step necessary information / updates (pdf attachments) will be provided on email. Keep checking the same.
• Successful filling up of application form and payment of fees, together will complete the provisional admission process.

Offline (In Person) Form Filling

• Visit Vishwakarma University, Pune Campus – Counselling and Admissions Office (VU Pune – Main Building – Room No. 1006)
• Get detailed information about the programme, curriculum, syllabus, infrastructure, facilities, etc.
• Apply in person for provisional admission by filling up Application Form (Fees – Rs. 1000/- non-refundable) and Provisional Admission Form along with provisional admission of fees of Rs. 25,000/-
• All payments are to be made digitally (UPI / Debit Card / Credit Card / NEFT / RTGS etc.)
• Counselling and Admissions Office will guide the candidate further regarding submission of documents, eligibility check etc.
