Master of Music is full time two year course degree offered by Visva Bharati Santiniketan and approved by UGC.
These are specialization : Rabindra-Sangit, Manipuri Dance, Kathakali Dance. Hindusthani Classical Music (Vocal, Instrumental: Sitar/Esraj /Tabla/Pakhawaj.
Admission Tests other than the All India Admission Test (VBCAT) will be held in Santiniketan Centre only. Applicants must produce their original final mark sheets of previous public examinations and other relevant documents along with attested photo-copies at the time of admission to various courses failing which his/her candidature will not be considered for admission.
For General Candidates
B.Mus. (Hons.) Final year of Visva-Bharati in the relevant subjects. External Candidates: 55% marks in three-years B. Mus. (Hon.) / BA (Hons) in Music courses of other universities with Hons. in relevant subjects.
Physically handicapped persons are not eligible to apply for Dance subjects.
For OBC candidates.
B. Music (Hons.) of Visva-Bharati in the relevant subjects, completed 49.5% marks in threeyears B. Music / BA in Music courses of other universities with Hons. in relevant subjects.
