VNIT Nagpur Facilities
The VNIT Nagpur has a vast campus spread across 215 acres and has various facilities for students. VNIT Nagpur facilities are designed efficiently to help students carry out their academic and non-academic activities within the campus. The VNIT Nagpur facilities like hostels, auditorium, gymnasium, cafeteria, library and laboratories, etc., are available with full access as per the institute’s norms for all students and faculty members. Health services are available 24 hours a day and seven days a week for all the university’s members and can be accessed anytime during an emergency. - Boys Hostel
The college has a boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
- Girls Hostel
The college has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
- Medical/Hospital
VNIT Nagpur Health centre mainly promotes holistic healthcare and education in regards to preventative measures. Mainly, OPD, yoga, meditation, counselling sort of activities are carried out as regular activities.
- Gym
The sports centre accompanies the VNIT gymnasium service rendered by the institute, mainly for students who are interested in fitness activities. The students can access it within the specified time period.

The VNIT Library is a five-decade-old independent three-story structure. The book and journal collections have been built up over time in a systematic manner.

The College has world class infrastructure and the facilities are quite good. The classrooms are installed with smart panels and the labs are equipped with ample resources. The best thing is the Sport Facilities which includes Olympic Level Swimming Pool and Multi sports facilities are available. The Hostels has mixed reviews, there are new hostels as well as old hostels.The mess food is ok,but not so good. The living spaces are clean as well as food is also hygenic.

The college infrastructure is really good. All the classrooms are luxurious and are well-equipped with Wifi. There are amenities for every outdoor sport like indoor badminton courts, swimming pools, Cricket and football grounds, basketball court, etc. There is also a spacious auditorium in which all the fests, guest lectures and events take place. The labs are a bit old but are equipped with all necessary instruments.

College Infrastructure
Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur also known as VNIT, Nagpur is one of the oldest engineering colleges in India. It was established in the year 1960. The campus is spread around 215 acres of land with greenery all around. We have smart classrooms, high-tech laboratories, one big library, top-class sports facilities, and newly built hostels for boys and girls both with free WiFi. The campus is really beautiful with all the amenities.
What should i choose between DTU mechanical, NIT Nagpur mechanical, NIT Calicut Mechanical or NIT Surat Electrical in terms of placements and campus life?

Both of the above two branches in NIT Nagpur is good. It depends on your interest as well.
But, if you ask me , I would recommend you to go for mechanical branch in Nit nagpur ad it is much better branch as compared with B.tech chemical engineering and it offers better placement opportunities as compared with chemical as well.
Talking about the b.tech mechanical engineering in NIT nagpur, it offers excellent academics for students, the professors are excellent and provide better education. Besides, the students are also very helpful in VNIT Nagpur.
In Mechanical Branch, 90% of the applied students get placed. The highest Package- 14 LPA (BRAHMOS), Average Package - 6.5 LPA and the lowest Package - 4.8 LPA (Thermax).
