West Bengal State University, Kolkata offers various postgraduate programmes. WBSU courses are offered in various streams such as sciences, arts, humanities and social sciences, education, medicine and allied sciences, engineering and architecture, media, mass communication and journalism, commerce, computer application and IT. The postgraduate programmes in various courses are two years consisting of four semesters. The university offers full-time postgraduate courses. WBSU courses at the PG level include M.A, M.R.S, M.Sc and M.Com. WBSU fee structure with eligibility criteria is mentioned below.

hey, currently I am in 1st year in Bidhannagar college, West Bengal State University, Kolkata.... so I wanted to know can I change my college in 2nd year in different university? like is it possible to get in Calcutta University in 2nd year or St. Xavier's, Kolkata (autonomous)?

See it depends upon the course in which you are enrolled and also on the college in which you are seeking admission. Because in course like B.Tech. there is an option of lateral entry through which you can get direct admission to 2nd year of the program, provided that you must have completed diploma before your first year or as you qualifying examination. As per New Education Policy you are allowed to change course as well as college in mid of the course but it is not yet implemented pan India, so I would recommend you to go through the rules of your college regarding admission withdrawal during the ongoing course.

West Bengal State University (WBSU) is a state university situated in Barasat, West Bengal were you are pursuing Political Science has a definite curriculum that is followed by the University. sir please help me. i am wbsu under graduate history honours student. my first year general subject was history. it will possible my second year general subject will same political science please tell me?

Since, in the first year you had history as your general elective subject, therefore this year as well means in the second year as well your general elective subject will be the same and you do not need to reselect it again .
However if you wish to change your general elective subject then you may do it by contacting your college authority or mailing them, mostly all colleges allow to change the general elective subject in second year but not in the third year.
so you can contact the concerned authorities or respective teacher and ask them to change it, they will guide you .
