Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University also known as BSAEU, erstwhile the West Bengal University of Teachers’ Training, Education Planning and Administration was established in 2015. BSAEU is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). BSAEU Kolkata has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a ‘B+’ grade. The mission of BSAEU Kolkata is to monitor Teacher Education at all levels as well as allied Planning and Administration in the state. In order to get shortlisted for BSAEU Kolkata courses, candidates are required to match the required eligibility criteria. Final admission will be granted on the basis of merit only.
