World University of Design, Sonipat Course Admission 2024 - Fees, Date, Cutoff & Eligibility

World University of Design, Sonipat offers admissions to several courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. At the undergraduate level, it offers Bachelor of Design (B.Des), Bachelor of Visual Arts (BVA), BBA in Design Strategy and Management (BBA DSM), B.Arch, BA, Bachelor in Performing Arts (BPA). At the postgraduate level, it offers Master of Design (M.Des), Master of Visual Arts (MVA), MBA in Design Strategy and Management (MBA DSM) and Master of Performing Arts (MPA). At the doctoral level, it offers Ph.D in Design Management. 

World University of Design, Sonipat Eligibility for Undergraduate

• The candidate should have completed the 10 + 2 standard from a recognised board

• The candidate should have scored a minimum of 50% marks

• For the B.Arch program, the candidate should have appeared in the NATA/ JEE main examination

• The candidate should have graduated from a recognised university

• The candidate should have scored a minimum of 50% marks

• The candidate should have completed master’s in the relevant subject from a recognised university

• The candidate should have scored a minimum of 55% marks

World University of Design, Sonipat Admission Procedure

• Interested candidates will have to send a duly filled application form available on the website along with the application fee.

• The students shall appear in the aptitude test of WUD, Sonipat with the Admit Cards made available online. The students shall be shortlisted on the basis of their performance and the list of students qualifying for next stage will be announced online.

• The student will have to appear in a personal interview conducted by a panel. The interview panel will ask questions related to the field of study selected by the student. Creative evidence (portfolio, drawings, photographs, crafts etc.) in hard copy may also be showcased.

• Successful candidates will be made an offer of admission to join WUD. The offer will be sent via an email. Details regarding payment of fees at the time of admission, allotment of Hostel and date, time and venue for commencement of the academic session will be included in the admission letter.

Note: Admission to the Ph.D. programs will be made through a written test and Interview. A design background is not essential and applicants from other disciplines are welcome. The candidates will be shortlisted for an interview which carries (60% weightage) on the basis of his/ her score in the written exam which carries (40% weightage) conducted by the university. 

Cumulatively the candidate must score a minimum of 55% weightage in the entrance examination to be eligible for admission in PhD programme.
