XIM University is a private unitary university located in the state of Odisha. The university has been established in accordance with The Xavier University, Odisha Act, 2013 and The Xavier University, Odisha (Amendment) Act, 2021, renaming Xavier University as XIM University. The University is a private self-financing institution of higher learning for imparting professional and technical education. XIM University Bhubaneswar is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and South Asian Quality Assurance System (SAQS). XIM University has been ranked 46th in the management category as per NIRF 2023 Ranking. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level programmes in the field of Business Management, Human Resource Management, Rural Management, Sustainability Management, Communications, Computer Science & Engineering, Economics, Commerce, Humanities & Compassion Studies, and Human Settlements like MBA, BBA, B.Sc. BA and others. To get shortlisted for MBA programmes, candidates need to submit valid CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ NMAT/ X-GMT scores followed by WAT, group discussions and personal interview round. The university is located at Plot No:12(A), Nijigada, Kurki, Harirajpur, Odisha. The nearest railway station is Khurda Road Junction Railway Station located 6.5 km away from the university which will take 15 minutes to reach the university. Biju Patnaik International Airport is the nearest airport at a distance of 14.7 km. It takes 25 minutes to reach XIM University from the airport. Students can take a bus from Jatni Bus Stand which is the nearest bus stop located 7.7 km away from the university. It will take 20 minutes to reach the varsity.

• Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar owes its origin to a "Social Contract" between the Government of Odisha and the Odisha Jesuit Society in 1987.
