Anything from "Things you find at the beach" to "Ways to help the environment" can be used. Let students come up with as many ideas as they can in five minutes.

To add a little artistic flair to the day, let children use their imaginations to illustrate a character or a short story.
On the board, write a few simple math problems. These could include division, multiplication, subtraction, and addition. Students can be asked to finish as many as possible in five minutes.
Give one pupil a word or brief phrase to whisper, and they will then whisper it to the next. Keep moving around the classroom. To gauge how much it has changed, the final student pronounces the word aloud.
