Maximising your time during exams is the key to success. Here are eight tested strategies to guide you in handling your time.

Before you start, quickly estimate how much time you can allocate to each section or question.
Begin with the questions you know best or find easiest. This boosts your confidence and ensures you secure those points early.
Use practice tests to simulate exam conditions by completing them within a set time frame to help you adjust your pacing and focus on areas where you need extra practice.
Wear a watch or look at the clock from time to time to remind you of how much time you have left.
If you are unable to find the answer to a question, skip it and come back later.
For essay questions, jot down your ideas for a few words before writing them down.
Try to finish your paper early and spare 10-15 minutes at last. This will be enough time for you to glance over your responses and find errors or add other details you overlooked.
Implementing these strategies will allow you to perform better in exams and attempt your tests with more confidence and control over your time. Good luck!
