Do not study in bed or any other sleeping-related area. Move to a table, desk, or even a library.
Fatigue can be caused by dehydration. Drink a lot of water while studying.
Stretch, walk around the house, or do light exercise for a few minutes. Even a few minutes of exercise will increase alertness.
Never slouch or sit down. Keep good posture to stay alert.
While studying, wash your face with cold water. It can provide an instant energy boost.
A short 10-20 minute nap will be refreshing, but longer naps will induce drowsiness.
Engage with the study material by note-taking, summarising, or teaching it back to yourself. Passive reading will promote sleepiness.
Eat healthy snacks like fruits, vegetables, or nuts. Do not have heavy or sweet foods that usually result in energy crashes.
