The exam is to be held in CBT (Computer-based) mode only. Exams are to be held in bilingual medium (English and Hindi), with few exceptions like Acharya, Linguistics, and M.Tech papers.
With a total of 157 papers offered, the CUET PG subject list includes 22 common languages, 41 languages, 30 science subjects, 26 humanities subjects, 12 higher science subjects, and 26 acharya subjects.
Every correct answer in CUET PG awards 4 marks. There are negative markings of 1 mark for each incorrect answer. No penalty for unattempted questions.
The CUET PG exam duration is 90 minutes, consisting of 75 MCQ questions.
Rs 1400 for general, Rs 1200 for OBC-NCL/Gen-EWS, Rs 1100 for SC/ST/OBC, Rs 1000 for PwBD, and Rs 7000 for international students. Extra papers cost Rs 700 for General, Rs 3500 for international students, and Rs 600 for others.
With an exam duration of one hour and thirty minutes, this MCQ-based CBT exam will be held in 2-3 shifts from March 13 to 31.
