For the 2025 Board exams, CBSE has put strong safeguards in place to stop malpractice.
Students who are detected cheating or using technological gadgets will have their examinations cancelled and they will be banned for two years.
This measure is aimed at ensuring a fair and transparent examination process for all students.
Learners will be subject to serious effects, namely the instant cancellation of the exam for the subject at hand when they fall in possession of items such as past years' tests.
The current exam will also be cancelled if there is any attempt to contact anybody outside the exam room, either orally or in writing.
After entering the test room, students who are caught using or attempting to use gadgets like smartphones, smartwatches, or Bluetooth headphones will be subject to harsh sanctions.
Under the same regulations, students who commit violent crimes, threaten exam personnel or enter or leave the exam centre by force will likewise face severe consequences.
Students who arrange to take an exam on their behalf risk grave consequences, such as having the current exams cancelled and being banned from taking further CBSE exams for a maximum of three years.
