BITS Pilani and all of its campuses require the BITSAT for admission, while JEE Main is a nationwide exam for engineering institutes.
JEE Main includes both numerical problems and multiple-choice questions. Concept-focused multiple-choice questions are part of the BITSAT.
Math, physics, and chemistry are included in both tests. Reasoning for logic and English are both included in BITSAT.
While BITSAT is a three-hour test with 130 questions to answer, JEE Main lasts three hours with 75 questions.
Both the JEE Mains and the BITSAT exams are held twice a year.
Because of its extensive syllabus, JEE Main is thought of as more difficult. BITSAT evaluates speed and intellectual knowledge.
For every correct answer in JEE Mains, you get 4 marks while in BITSAT you get 3 marks. Both BITSAT and JEE Mains have a negative marking of 1 mark for incorrect responses.
The JEE Main scores are used for admission to NITs, IIITs and many other engineering colleges. The BITSAT results are used only at BITS Pilani and its campuses.
JEE Main needs plenty of expertise and the ability to solve problems. The two primary goals of BITSAT preparation are speed and accuracy.
Each test has its own unique features. Make selections based on your areas of expertise and the colleges you want to go to.
