UGC NET is a national-level exam conducted by the NTA twice a year. It determines who is qualified to become eligible for lectureship/Assistant professor & Junior research fellowship.
NTA administers the CSIR NET exam to check the eligibility of candidates for the Lecturers and Junior Research Fellowship posts in the Faculty of Science.
UGC NET:
Age limit: 30 years,No Upper Age for Assistant Professor.
CSIR NET :
NTA revised the age limit of JRF from 28 to 30.

Paper II: Subject chosen by the applicant.

Part B: Subject selected by the candidate.
