PARAKH is set to conduct the Rashtriya Sarvekshan 2024, replacing the National Achievement Survey (NAS), aimed at assessing student competencies
PARAKH is stage-specific and assesses competencies at three levels:
Preparatory - Class 6
Unlike grade-specific NAS, said CEO Indrani Bhaduri
Middle - Class 9
Foundational - Class 3
The test on December 4 covers language, mathematics, science, and social science
PARAKH Rashtriya Sarvekshan will assess nearly 23 lakh children from 87,619 schools across India, testing in 23 languages

Schools were selected through a robust sampling technique, with a mix of government, private, and central schools, following global standards
Results will be released in three months, providing a report of student performance at national, state, and district levels, with insights into learning gaps
