Miranda House Delhi is a women's college established in 1948. As per the NIRF 2023 ranking, the college ranked 1st under the degree colleges category. Miranda House, Delhi Scholarship

Miranda House offers many scholarships to its students. Miranda House scholarships are of two types - College Awards of Excellence and Donor Awards. Golden Jubilee Awards, Prof Savitri G Burman Awards of Excellence, Principal’s Award, University Rankers Award and Academic Awards are all Miranda House scholarships which come under the College Awards of Excellence category. 

There are more than 20 Miranda House scholarships which come under the Donor Awards category. Some of them are - Angeli Qwatra Award for Excellence, Anu Bedi Award, Saroj Bedi Award, Miranda House Alumnae Association Award and many more. These scholarships exist because of the large number of endowments by private  donors that the college receives. Details of Miranda House scholarships are given below.

College Infrastructure

The vibrant campus life at Miranda House is one of its key attractions. The college hosts a variety of cultural, academic, and sports events throughout the year, including the much-anticipated annual fest, Tempest. Numerous societies and clubs cater to diverse interests, from debating and dramatics to dance and music, providing ample opportunities for students to explore and hone their talents.

It's a good college but the expenses of living are high.

To enroll in the B.A Psychology (Hons.) program at Delhi University, you must fulfill the criteria of selecting one language from list A, two subjects from B1, and one subject from either B1 or B2.

So to pursue Pol science, you are not required to give general test.

Sociology and NID are two different fields one is a degree course and other is a professional course in designing.in b.a sociology it not only provides knowledge of the books but also provides knowledge more about fieldwork and practice. placement is decent as many companies visit for on campus placement.

NID also provides internship and placement to the students in designing field.so it is upto you which course you want to pursue.dont go for good value and placement college you end up with frustration after sometime if you are not interested in the field.

The eligibility criteria to get admission to B.Sc Zoology is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry minimum 55% aggregate marks and 50% aggregate marks in English from a recognized board. The merit the is calculated by considering the marks scored in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry only. So, by taking the marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology your merit score would be 100. Last year in 3rd special round a candidate belonging to general category secured admission to B.Sc Zoology in Miranda House with 97.00  marks. Considering the previous year cut off you have decent chances of getting seat in B.Sc Zoology in the preferred college.
