JMI New Delhi Admission Process

Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral-level courses. JMI New Delhi admissions are based on the performance in the entrance examination conducted by the university. JMI admissions to the UG and PG programmes are made on the basis of the marks scored in the JMI Entrance Examination followed by group discussion/interview, wherever applicable.

JMI B.Tech admissions are based on the JEE Main examination ranks of the candidates. For JMI B.Arch admission, the university accepts NATA examination scores. The university has closed the JMI 2024 application form for UG courses on April 12, 2024. The first and foremost step to apply for admission is to register online and fill out the JMI Application Form 2024. Candidates must make sure that they fill all the details in their JMI 2024 application form correctly. Any discrepancy in the JMI 2024 application form and actual facts will result in the rejection.

Steps to Fill the JMI Application Form

Step 1 - Registration

Visit the official website of JMI.
Click the 'Register' button.
Fill out the registration form by providing your email address and cell phone number.
The university will send an email with the Unique CODE and a link to authenticate the email account, as well as a login (email ID) and password to the registered email id.
Applicants can go into the site and fill out the application form after successfully verifying the link and using their login ID and password.

Step 2 - Fill up the application form

Log in using your login information.
Fill out the application form with your personal, academic, and contact information.
Click the 'Submit and pay' button.

Step 3 - Uploading the documents

Upload a scanned image of the candidate's coloured passport-size photo with a white background (maximum 100 KB)
Please submit a scanned image of the candidate's signature (maximum of 100 KB).
The documents you upload must be in the correct format.

Step 4 - Pay the application fee

To proceed with the payment, select the 'Pay' option.
Select a payment method.
Pay the JMI application fee with a debit card, a credit card, or through net banking.
Candidates can also pay with a demand draft made out to "The Registrar, Jamia Millia Islamia" and payable in New Delhi.

To log into the student portal, candidates must visit the student portal website. After that, candidates must enter their user ID, and their password and click on ‘Login’. JMI New Delhi Login portal includes academic details, fees, admission status and many other details.

JMI New Delhi UG Course Admission 2024

The Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi offers BA Hons, B.Sc, B.Tech, B.Sc Hons, BA LLB, B.Arch and BDS programmes at the undergraduate level. The duration of the JMI courses varies from two to five years. JMI admission to the B.Tech programmes is through JEE Main rank.

Only the candidates who successfully paid the fee for their application forms are allotted the JMI admit card 2024. Candidates can download their hall ticket for JMI 2024 by entering the login credentials in the login dialogue box. It must be noted that candidates should check the details mentioned in their JMI 2024 admit card carefully. Any discrepancy in the admit card of JMI 2024 must be reported to the authorities. JMI Counselling 2024

The Jamia Millia Islamia Counselling 2024 will be held to allocate places to candidates who have completed the Jamia Millia Islamia Entrance Exam (JMIEEE). Reasons for cancelled JMI admission

A candidate may be denied admission if he or she is unable to show the most recent qualifying examination certificate or previous qualification certificate.
Candidates from the reserved category must provide supporting documentation at the time of admission.
If an applicant fails to pay the JMI entrance fee within the time frame specified, his or her seat will be frozen.
If any information provided by the candidate is proven to be erroneous, or if a candidate has been wrongfully admitted for any reason, this can be corrected at any time.
Anyone discovered engaging in malpractice or unfair activities during the JMI entrance exam 2024 would be barred from taking the exam.

JMI Reservation 2024

For students in the reserved category, the university has a reservation policy. According to the JMI 2024 reservation policy, if there are insufficient candidates in the PwD category, the remaining seats will be shifted to the general category. JMI sets aside 10% of seats for Muslim OBC and Muslim ST candidates. If the required number of applicants in the Muslim Women and Muslim ST/SC categories is not present, the seats would be shifted to the Muslim category.

Academics

As academic-wise Jamia is good it have great faculties like b.tech, polytechnic, law, mass communication, ba department and many more. The best thing is that the class have proper time each subject have 4 hrs lecture in a week and practical have 3 hrs per week. Class schedule on Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Infra as well as faculties are best

Teachers here are very helpful and well-qualified, doing everything they can to help each and every student, teaching about the course, and also giving life lessons. I guess the course is quite curriculum relevant. The exams here are not so difficult if you study well; the passing marks are 35-40.
