Aeronautical Engineering is a sub-discipline of Aerospace Engineering and is focused on aircraft or aeroplanes that operate within the Earth’s atmosphere.
While both the specialisations are related and sometimes overlapping, Aerospace Engineering is much wider in scope. Aeronautics is the more specific of the two.
