BTech Aerospace Engineering and BTech Aeronautical Engineering are both popular engineering courses. Both of these courses are similar but differ in their approach and scope. Aerospace Engineering is a more advanced course than Aeronautical Engineering and has a much broader scope.
BTech Aerospace Engineering is an undergraduate engineering programme of four years duration, spread across eight semesters. It is aimed at the design, development, and maintenance of aircraft and spacecraft used within and out of the earth’s atmosphere. BTech Aeronautical Engineering focuses on the study of design, development and maintenance of only aircraft operating within the earth’s atmosphere. Aeronautical Engineering is often considered a sub-branch of Aeronautical Engineering.
BTech Aerospace Engineering is an undergraduate degree programme of four years duration. Aerospace Engineering is a broader discipline and consists of the design and development of both aircraft and spacecraft operating within and out of the Earth’s atmosphere. To be eligible for the BTech course, students must have completed their 10+2 in the science stream from a recognised institute in India.
