The Admission for all UG Courses of Engineering is considered based on merit. The Candidates will be admitted to each program based on Karunya Entrance Examination (KEE) only for B.TECH. and Higher Secondary Score.

Admission to the First Year program has been based in the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA).

• A pass 10+2 or equivalent examination with 60% marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

                OR

• A pass in 10+2 Vocational stream (with the subjects General Machinist, Electrical machines and Application, Electronic Equipments, Draughtsman Civil, Auto Mechanic, Textile Technology, etc) with any one of the Engineering related subjects namely Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry with minimum average percentage put together 60%

A student passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
