Annamacharya College of Education, Rajampet: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Annamacharya College of Education at Rajampet was established in the year 2003. It is an affiliated college with an annexe in Kadapa District, Andhra Pradesh. The college discharges teacher education with a specific sanction by the NCTE. It has three full-time courses, with a total student intake of 232 and a faculty strength of 42, on a 5.5-acre campus. The institute renders specialised education in B.Ed, M.Ed, and D.El.Ed programmes at different levels for aspiring educators. 

The Annamacharya College of Education has many facilities that support its students in their learning endeavours. The library is partially digitised with more than 10,000 books, 25 national and international journals, 18 encyclopedias, and a reading capacity for 60 users. In the Physical and Biological Sciences, there are well-equipped laboratories wholly furnished with recent working models, charts, and specimens forming an integral part of the training in teaching sciences. IT-infrastructure: The IT infrastructure consists of a well-equipped computer laboratory of 40 Lenovo desktops operating on Windows 10, installed with different application software, and high-speed internet connectivity at 100 Mbps. Physical development: This is catered to by a large playground with courts for volleyball, football, basketball, and tennikoit, besides a 400-meter running track. Adding on is the provision for indoor games of table tennis, carrom, and chess. There is a separate hostel for boys and girls. 

Annamacharya College of Education offers a total of three full-time courses in teacher education. These are Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Master of Education (M.Ed), and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). The total intake of the college in respect of all programmes is 232 students. This is indeed in pursuance of the institutional commitment to a focused, educationally inspiring environment and quality-driven educational environment 

Admission to all programmes of Annamacharya College of Education is based on merit, as per rules framed by the State Government, UT administration, and the affiliated University, based on marks obtained in qualifying examination and/or entrance test. Admissions to B.Ed and D.El.Ed courses are made purely on merit in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination; in the case of the M.Ed programme, other selection criteria, if any are added according to the government or university policies. The structured admission procedures of the college further substantiates its determination to quality education, offering the deserving candidates the opportunity to build careers in teaching.
