It’s not that bad. The placement opportunities are quite good already but the University is working towards getting more placement opportunities for the students which is I believe is excellent. So yes it is improving.

Overall very realistic experience studying there.There is something like academic difficiency we can seee now faculties are not much experience and up to the marks as per our fees not that much better teaching skills it should focus on enriching college with extravagant faculties this is major concern in patna women's college right now and there should be leniency in dressing and uniform regulation not even allowing jeans and other clothing stuffs other than salwar suit dupatta.

Since I am from the 2026 MCA batch, I have not experience the complete placement process yet , so i would not comment on the final placement percentage. However, i know the most of my seniors were placed in good IT companies.

The library staff goes beyond just issuing books as they help with research, provide access to online databases and create a welcoming environment. Hostel experience was above average. Regular maintenance, clean bathrooms and a friendly community made my stay comfortable. But wifi may come slow in certain areas that's the only problem. Otherwise each and every classroom has projector and is fully air conditioner which is not provided by many top colleges

Teaching quality has genuinely impressed me here. Professors know their subjects and take real interest in how students are doing. Curriculum is relevant, covers taxation, auditing, financial management properly. Exams are rigorous but fair, test actual understanding. Pass rate consistently crosses 86%, which says a lot about both teaching depth and how exams are structured. Teachers are mostly helpful and knowledgeable, willing to go the extra mile when you need clarity on something tough. Curriculum feels reasonably aligned with what industry wants, covers essential commerce topics with practical relevance. Theory-heavy papers are hard but fair. Pass rate stays around 80-82%. Enough support available if you're struggling. Also almost each and every faculty is good in our college whether it is eco department or commerce department or any other department.
Placements
For me, the biggest advantage is the combination of affordable education and corporate opportunities. You do not have to spend an extremely high fee to get access to internships, competitions and placement drives. The final package depends on individual performance, but the overall opportunities are worthwhile. B.Com Hons. students get exposure to subjects that are useful for corporate roles, especially accounting, finance and taxation. The placement roles reflect this background. Audit associate, finance analyst and tax related roles are some of the profiles that attract commerce students. Note : i have heard that in our college ggs students of bcom prog. and bcom hons. get better placement opportunities.
