Srm doesnt provide placements for psychology student sadly. We have to fight our own way out to get jobs with good salary. They do promise that but bsc students wont get internship that easily as you already know.

I've spent a lot of my time lately in the labs at PIET, and honestly, the infrastructure is what made my B.Tech LEET journey much easier. For my AI & ML project work, having access to the AICTE IDEA Lab and the robotics setup was a game-changer. I didn't have to worry about hardware limitations. I also rely on the specialized Lecture Capture Impartus system to rewatch lectures when i need to catch up. With the 1.4 Gbps Wi-Fi and the tech-heavy vibe, it truly feels like a modern hub built for us.

Since I joined through lateral entry, I jumped straight into the second year. It was a bit fast at first, but the teachers were helpful. I really appreciate Dr. Devendra Prasad's guidance in mastering the networking theories and machine learning techniques. Whenever i get stuck on a tough piece of code or a logic error, he would take the time to sit down and walk me through it until i got it right. But the best part is that i spend most of my time in the labs. My ML project work was a huge part of my learning; I wasn't just reading books; I was building models. For this, I worked in the Intel Intelligent Systems Lab and used the NPTEL resources to stay ahead of the curve. there is no doubt; the faculty is high-class and approachable, the curriculum is industry-oriented, and i have to say my time at PIET has truly been one of the best experiences of my life.

When we aren;t in the labs, you'll usually find us hanging out at the open-air amphitheatre or grabbing a bite in the canteen. Whether I'm enjoying the high energy of the Maestros fest or just relaxing on the lawns after a long day of classes, this place feels like a second home. It's where i get to be a total tech enthusiast while still maintaining a great social life.
