Jaspuria B.ED.College started in the year 2012 is a B.Ed. College affiliated to Ranchi University, Jharkhand. This co-educational institute specializes in teacher education, offering two full-time courses: There are following programs: 1) Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) 2) Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.). The college is located in a 2.5-acre land has an intake capacity of 249 students and has 25 faculty members. Recognised by the NCTE government of India, Jaspuria B.Ed College provides quality education to prospective teachers in a rightful environment.

They are aware that the college should have facilities that will help improve the experience of their learners besides helping them in learning activities. Modern library is an educational and referential center that must have a rich collection of educational literature. Campus also provides different hostels for boys and girls to facilitate those students who live in far off regions. Thus, for the purpose of pedagogical and recreational physical activity the college offers sports grounds and a gym.

Jaspuria B.Ed. College encompasses two major programs in education realm. The B. Ed programme has an intakes of a hundred seats whereas, the D. El. Ed programme has 50 seats. Both are two-year full-time courses catering for student who would wish to be equipped with the knowledge and skills required in teaching profession. The particular programs offered at the college are as an indication of the college’s commitment towards producing trained teachers for the increasing market in the education fraternity.

The admission to this B.Ed. College is however made strictly on merit requirement standards that every institution receives from the state government and other related educational authorities. In case of B.Ed program stiff cutoff is maintained based on the score obtained by students in their JCCECEB entrance examination. To accomplish this, evaluation criteria are set to ensure that candidate with the highest potential for teaching is hired. 

The merit basis of the admission in D.El.Ed. programme shall be made as per the marks obtained in the Qualifying Examination /Entrance test as per policy in force from the State Government and the Jharkhand Academic Council for the session concerned. This more rigorous formulation of functions is designed to select individuals who have strong interest in teaching profession, and have the ability to excel in this sub sector of education profession.
