The Alagappa Polytechnic College is recognised technical institution started its journey in the year of 1955 in the remote town called Karaikudi in Tamilnadu state. It is a co-educational college with the conceivable forces of an affirmed affiliate of AICTE, All India Council for Technical Education. With over six decades of its existence, the college has produced many young engineers and given a direction to their careers. The institute has different diploma programs currently offered in various engineering fields with total student strength of 1216. The college currently has a faculty of 12 committed teachers, which means that the students of the college get a unique opportunity to receive qualitative education in the college.

In this context Alagappa Polytechnic College has envisaged to impart education for its students in all round manner. The campus has a variety of facilities and amenities that meet academic needs in addition to other student activities. A university is equipped by well-equipped laboratories that meet the need of all the different branches of engineering; therefore, students can get practical experiences. The college library is the source of information for students, lecturers, and researchers; students are allowed to borrow books, journal, and other relevant materials to improve on their research work. Application Process
