Amar Bhartiya Mahavidyalaya, was started in 2003, affiliated college situated in Gwalior, (M.P). This institution offer teacher education programs and is also accredited by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). At the college, there are total three full time courses available from two degree levels and all programmes are meant for the students who wants to become a teacher. However, it is difficult to obtain current information regarding students enrollment and number of faculty whether full-time or part-time although the college gives focus on the quality education that it offers in teaching discipline through its courses and equipment.

Another factor that supports the college is the availability of a number of infrastructures aimed at improving the study success of the learners. This is a facility with most of the necessary resources that can help a learner to become a good teacher. It has an auditorium for occasions such as events and seminars and this makes the environment around the campus academic. To meet the practical needs of the college, the college has departmental laboratories. Through these facilities, the students can undertake various activities so as to enjoy the exercises to be offered by the different facilities offered within the university. 

The college has also placed emphasis on dealing with the welfare of the students through a filled health center, which provides first aid services. To its advantage, the institution has correlated excellent IT curriculum with excellent IT infrastructure. There is a cafeteria on the school compound to meet the food needs of the people in the college as well as transport facility for easy moving within the college.

Amar Bhartiya Mahavidyalaya has a closely aligned set of three regular courses in Education stream for students. such as the Bachelors in Education (B. Ed) academic qualifications for Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed), and Diploma in Education (D. Ed). There is B.Ed and D.El.Ed course to which 100 intakes have officially been sanctioned for each programme the D.Ed course has 50 intake. All these courses take two years to complete offering training to would-be teachers.

Amar Bhartiya Mahavidyalaya gives admission on merit, that is on the basis of marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination as well as entrance examination. The college works under certain admission norms enacted by the State Government of Madhya Pradesh, the UT Administration and the university to which this college is affiliated. For the B.Ed programme the candidates are admitted according to the performance in the qualifying examination or through a Entrance examination as per rules and regulations of the state and university. 

The courses offered include D.El.Ed and D.Ed where admission is based on merit, performance in government entrance examination as well as percentage marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
