Asha College of Education, Markapuram, was established in the year 2010. It is an affiliated college at Yellapuram, Markapuram, Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh, India. This NCTE-approved institution specializes in Teacher Education programs. This college, located on a compact campus of 1.5 acres, offers two full-time courses with a total intake of students of 200. Admission to the Asha College of Education shall be made on merit, as per the policy framed by the state government, Union Territory administration, and the affiliated university. The B.Ed. course shall be offered on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. Whereas, in the D.El.Ed. course, the merit shall be determined on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination result. Students are advised to keep themselves updated from time to time through the official notifications of the college regarding the exact dates of admission and examination.
