Asha College of Education, Markapuram, was established in the year 2010. The NCTE-approved institution is affiliated with Yellapuram, Markapuram, Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh, India. It has a compact campus of 2 acres and offers two full-time courses with a total of 200 students enrolled.

Asha College of Education offers a fulfilling learning environment to each student. An all-time well-stocked library is set up as a source of knowledge for budding educators. The institute highly acknowledges the role of technology in today's education system and hence has built up excellent IT infrastructure to keep the students updated about the latest digital techniques of teaching. For providing the practical experience, the Asha College of Education has maintained the departmental laboratories where the students can practically practice teaching. This is also further catalysed by the needs of a complete education through sports facilities provided by the institute, instilling physical fitness and team spirit in its students. 

Asha College of Education currently offers two comprehensive courses in the field of education. Both the programmes are full-time, essentially meant to prepare pupils to be successful teachers. The college offers B.Ed. with an enrolment of 100 students and D.El.Ed.

Admission to Asha College of Education shall be made strictly on merit, as per the policy framed by the state government/Union Territory administration and the affiliated university. A B. Ed. course shall be offered on marks obtained in the qualifying examination as well as the entrance examination.
