The Aurobindo College of Nursing Bhopal was established in the year 2007 and is situated in Acharya Narendra Dev Nagar, Old Subhash Nagar, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. This co-educational institute, located on a 5.5-acre campus, is an affiliated college recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). Taking an enrolment of 200 students per year and with a faculty recruitment of 39, the college provides numerous programmes in the nursing field. Aurobindo College of Nursing offers 9 programmes in three programmes and offers various programmes in nursing, which include medical-surgical nursing, community health nursing, paediatric nursing and obstetrics and gynaecological nursing.

It has equipment that are peculiar for assistance in the teaching processes as well as the students’ personal development. The college possesses a well-stocked library with a seating capacity of 1,500 to 1,800 with nursing and medical sciences and general books for the use of the students. Aurobindo College of Nursing has a well-equipped computer laboratory with 25-30 sets connected to the internet, making the learners update their knowledge with current technological solutions to problems within the respective field of specialisation. Concerning the students’ physical health, the institute provides sports amenities and hosts events such as annual sports events where learners are urged to practise different events as a way of enhancing their discipline besides achieving their overall Empowering Learners for the Future. Health is also valued in the college, hence offering regular checkups by qualified doctors and outpatient and inpatient nursing practice arrangements with nearby hospitals.

This has been made possible by the fact that Aurobindo College of Nursing established a variety of nursing programmes to suit the educational needs. Currently, the institute offers 8 full-time programmes involving undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses. The course includes B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing in various fields, paediatric nursing and midwifery, and auxiliary nurse midwifery. 

The admission process of Aurobindo College of Nursing ensures that responsible and deserving students are selected in different courses offered at the college. A student’s performance in certain subjects and/oran entrance examination is considered.
