    AVS College of Education Ramalingapuram Salem Tamil Nadu 2005 affiliated college is a rapidly developing institution, as are all over India. The institute is accredited by the NAAC and the NCTE has given its approval to the institute. For its operations, the college occupies a 3-acre piece of land, and it provides a B.Ed programme which has, in total, 147 student enrolments. Under the academic leadership of a contingent of 13 faculty members, students enrolled at AVS College of Education benefit from a healthy student-faculty ratio.

    AVS College of Education has developed according to a concept that seeks to present students with an array of facilities that will enrich their learning experiences. The library, as one of the main facilities of the institution, contains a stock of 5267 books, 16 educational journals and periodicals, and 56 encyclopaedias for students’ and staff members’ use. Science, Psychology, Technology, Language, and Computer laboratories are available to provide practical sessions to the students. The college also includes an Auditorium meant for seminars, etc., a cafeteria and a well-equipped modern Infirmary and IT products. In the aspect of children’s health and physical fitness, there are facilities for fitness scheduling including Gym, playground, etc, games and sporting facilities like playground for Athletics, indoor and outdoor games and sports.

    AVS College of Education currently offers one full-time course: The B.Ed programme that stands for Bachelor of Education. This two-year programme has an admitted limit of 100 students, which demonstrates the institute's commitment to providing quality education in the area of teacher training.
