Baba Bhagwan Das Teacher Training College, situated at Alwar, Rajasthan, is a focused college for the future teachers. Being an affiliated college to this university, it was established in 2008, so it has been in the business of transforming education for more than one decade. Located in Jat Behror in the Tehsil Mundawar, this college sits in a small 1.48-acre expanse, which is perfect for the small, intimate college setting. Having got the approval of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), it has been imparting concentrated courses in teacher training with the enrolment of 169 students and 15 teaching faculty.
The college has a variety of facilities in all its training programmes intended to improve learning among its students. These amenities include a library that sits at 2210 square feet with a student capacity of 805 students at any one time. It has an organised collection of 4750 books, 200 reference materials, and 44 current journals, as well as 10 magazines. Baba Bhagwan Das Teacher Training College currently offers one primary course: The B.Ed. programme is a two-year full course whose main purpose is to equip the student with the necessary training that will enable him or her to be a good teacher in the future. The college is allowed to admit only 100 students annually for this programme, in concord with efforts aimed at achieving a reasonable student-facilitator ratio and thus quality education. This synthetically focused approach gives the institution the opportunity to direct all its effort and resources towards the production of qualified educators.
The admission process of the B.Ed programme in the Baba Bhagwan Das Teacher Training College is highly centralised and is done by Matsya University, Alwar. It works in rotation for all the government universities in Haryana so that all across the state the admission process is the same and just.
