Bosco College of Teacher Education, starting its session in 2002-03, is one of the premier institutions for teacher training situated at Dimapur, Nagaland. The five-acre campus of this co-educational college aims to prepare the generations to come as well as develop competent and motivated educators. Like other affiliated colleges, it becomes a part of a larger university, which in a way sets a standard for the programme offered and the quality of education. The NCTE approves the educational quality of this teacher training college.

It was established in 2003 and is affiliated with Nagaland University.  Bosco College of Teacher Education has various amenities used to improve the teaching and learning environment for the college learners. The library is informational, where the students can take books for individual study and reference. Department-specific laboratories are available to satisfy a variety of requirements, giving practical experience. The college also has a facility for an auditorium for seminars and other programmes to support the spirit of the academic college. Bosco College of Teacher Education has a specialised learning curriculum, and its main speciality is the B.Ed course. This programme is a two-year full-time programme with an approved student intake of 100 students, which shows the college’s capability in delivering quality education to as many future teachers as possible. The specific objectives of the B.Ed. The programme is to provide the students with the knowledge and skills to allow them to fit well in the area of specialisation.
